Chris has done it again! I just love her blog! She has posted on her blog about Large Families. Yesterday, we went to Pueblo to run some errands and while we were there we went to grab a bite to eat. A woman looked at our family and said, “You two really have your hands full.” We just smiled and I said, “Just a tiny bit.” I know that she didn’t mean anything by it because of the smile she gave us while she made her comment. Large families are really looked upon as being negative. What ever happened to the fact that the more children,or as we call them the Blessings from God, you had the richer you were? I mean really children are such a precious gift from our Father. Why does the world look so down on these blessings? Could it be true that satan is attacking families? Gee I wonder…I mean if he can convince everyone that one is more than enough then there goes our future Priests and Nuns. Chris is correct in saying that we become less selfish if we have children. We are feeding the hungry, giving water to the thirsty, changing diapers, taking care of the sick, and the list goes on with being a mother or a father. We are always doing for others instead of doing for ourselves.

As far as those with small families I am in no way thinking bad about them. My own mother was lucky that she had myself and my younger brother before she had to have full hysterectomy. So, please know that I am not saying that those with one child or no children are not good. We never know the reasons why someone has a large or small family. It is God that knows and we should not judge others.

I am so glad that Chris posted about large families. I was thinking about it last night, but she beat me to it! Way to go Chris!

On another note Gabriella ears were pierced yesterday! I know it is so mean of us, but we have always pierced the girls ears and since we broke away with the “T-name” tradition…well we didn’t want to stop that one as well. She did great and still looks beautiful! Her daddy would say that she takes after him…who am I to disagree? He is a handsome man after all.
